not so fun in the sun

on saturday { june 8th } belle, kent, the boys and the girls and i went to the Civic Center for a fun free day to slide down water slides. then we headed off to my mothers to have some fun in the pool. 

we had a great time!

{ yes we put on sun screen! }

but did charis get burned you ask? 

NO!

the lucky duck just got golden brown.

fun in the sun with friends

who doesnt like playing in the sprinklers, playing with giant squirt guns and throwing water balloons?

the girls had a couple of their friends over for some fun in the sun. 

Elly and Owen Bang are fun to have over. 

as you can see every one had a good time...

even i got a little wet! 

after they were all done outside they came in for some snacks and movie.

i love it when friends can get together and have fun!

we will have to do it again!

Drive in movie night

on april 14th, it was customer appreciation night at our local drive in. so we pile in for the free movie! the girls got their faces painted. we had lots of goodies and really enjoyed it! we watched Megamind. it was a lot of fun!
