It's been a LONG while since I've even thought about the blog, or even posting on it. Life goes on and normal day to day occurrences happen, but I guess it never registers with me to write it down. I've always been awful at keeping a journal, or any kind of record really. That's what I have Boyd for, I guess, with all his filming and picture taking- at least one of us is trying to capture the story of our life together. Ha! But where to begin? Do you go back and post every detail since the last time you posted? Or do you just start from somewhere recent and try and keep it updated?! It's SO hard to choose. SIGH!
What would you do?

Start where you are. :) I love you so much! You are such an amazing mother to me in so many ways! What? Name a few? Alright, I shall.
ReplyDelete1. Amber Baysinger is a FUN mom. I've always looked up to you for that...you're not afraid to let your kids have an experience! Whether it's cooking or playing games or what have you.
2. Amber Baysinger makes her girls' hair BEAUTIFUL! Such wonderful braided concoctions as I've only ever dreamt. (You MUST show me how! As soon as Maggie grows luscious locks. Grow Maggie! Grow!)
3. Amber Baysinger works hard to help her children learn! Pushing them to do their homework...pushing them to read each night...
4. Amber Baysinger teaches her children how important chores are! And she tries to make it fun too! (See! There's that "fun" word again!)
I could go on and on and on... I LOVE YOU! YOU ARE AN AWESOME MOM! AND AN AWESOME IN-DI-VI-DUAL! :)
What a conundrum! I feel the same way sometimes when it comes to writing the things I want to write - even though I don't blog. I think just starting from where you are is perfect! It's obvious that time has passed, but so what? Time does pass! Maybe pick some favorite pictures from the time you missed & post them with a snippet on what you were doing at the time, then just go on to something you've done recently that was wonderful.
ReplyDeleteI think a picture of your new house and maybe each bedroom with the occupant in it would be great! Shows that you've been out-of-your-mind crazy with moving!
I'm proud of you for listening to the feelings of wanting to start again with the blog. You DESERVED the break! But this shows that you're ready to begin again. Can't wait to see...
I say start from where you are. There's no time like the present. And you've inspired me to do the same! Can't wait to read more. Love you! :D
ReplyDeleteI say do whichever makes you feel best! Sometimes I like to start right where I am and just give myself a fresh start...but sometimes I have things that have been on my list to document forever and I would feel awful if I skipped them...like I didn't do something I had promised myself I would do. Whatever you decide should make you feel good and accomplished...not stressed or behind!
