im not sure how long we drove before we took our first stop. the drive from Dayton to Disneyland is beautiful. the mountains are definitely more pretty to look at than desert. we found a little pull out and took a stop! its nice to be able to get out and stretch every now and again. we had fun playing in the almost dry river bed.
pretty, isnt it? after maybe 20 mins we get back in the car and continue our scenic drive.
there is snow in the mountains! crazy!
after a few more hrs we took another stop. this time it was a rest stop, but it had a neat bridge and a cute little stream running through it.
after taking the opportunity for some pictures we hopped back in the car and headed to Disneyland!
we got to Disney around 6/6:30 the first ride we had to ride was:
after the ride we find out that the park is closing at 7! we were lucky to have gotten one ride in. WHEW!
i have to say it was kinda nice because we were tired.
Awww man...you stopped just shy of DISNEY! Excited to hear more. And that rest stop looked GORGEOUS. I've done a lot of rest stops on road trips and I don't remember ever seeing any so cute as that.
